End of the year and It has been few hectic weeks, for me anyway. Me falling sick (cough, flu, fever and spotting!)
Last month after my period, i noticed im having some light spotting which is unusual. Hence i made a trip to my gynae, Dr Loh and after checking, he confirmed that there is no growth or cyst but my womb has dropped! Yes it has dropped almost 2 inches and resting above my vagina. *horror*
Dr Loh further explained that this is due to heavy lifting or carrying infant in most cases. Also i explained to him that i have been feeling slight pain below tummy area almost every night when i lie down on bed. Dr Loh mentioned that this could be the pressure applied when carrying infant hence the pain when you have 'relaxed' your muscles.
Actually i have been carrying my baby girl almost 3-4 hours daily and sometimes beyond that. I normally stand for a very long time while carrying her while i watched TV or just show her around. Mind you, she was almost 8 kg at 6 months and i continued to carry her until Oct - when i made that fateful trip to gynae and i carry her less now.
No wonder people recommended 'urut' after giving birth but i havent gone to any! *sigh* I must make time to go, i keep reminding self. I need to take care of my womb because Dr Loh said my womb will drop out one day!! Its scary to even think about it.
I also made a trip to chinese doctor and he too prescribed me medicines, bitter syrup to drink and some herbal tablets. (i finished Dr Loh's medicine and stopped for a week before starting on chinese med). Dr Luke Tiong is from Miri and his shop is right above AMbank in Miri. He 'listened' to my pulse and said that he too, felt my womb has drooped! (Of course i told him i have been spotting after period) and the med he gave me is supposed to 'uplifting' my womb back to its original position. So far i have not carried my baby, i really hope the meds i took will make a difference. Will need to go for Dr Luke again once im back in Miri.
Dr Luke Tiong can be contactable at 085 425435

Gynae - Petaling Jaya
The other day as i was in the lift, a lady asked me when she saw my bump.. "how many months are you'? "Which gynae?".. I guess these two are the common questions people ask.
First, they want to know how many months to determine whether you are having a girl or a boy. Secondly, how 'small' and 'neat' your bump is or how big and hugelike a whale you are.
So, im gonna share on the gynae that i have been seeing for the past 7 months. It is solely based on my personal encounter with him and how i felt.
This gynae location is located in front of Kelana Jaya LRT, for those staying in PJ, its the next shoprow from King Crab. Or the restaurant "Bone & Pot". U will not miss it.
Dr Loh Khee Fei goes by the clinic name Klinik Pakar Wanita Loh and contact number is 03-7804 8669. He is recommended by Boo's colleague.
Dr Loh is a middle aged man, and of course he doesnt talk much. He didnt explained much too as i expect a gynae will do when he knows you are carrying your 'first' child. Only during my last week visit (and also my last since im flying back to sarawak to give birth) he did chat up with Boo and me but we didnt quite catch what he was saying. How i wish he was chatty from the first time i saw him. And he speaks quite fast too.
Anyway, he is a busy man, so i guess thats why he kept his conversation minimal to baby's developement. Each visit cost roughly RM80 for consultation and baby pic and RM180 for consultation, baby pic and vitamins (calcium & obimin). I had blood test too and it was about RM220 for consultation, baby pic, and blood test).
However if you would like to deliver with him, he delivers only at Tropicana Medical Centre as his clinic is only for consultations.
The malay receptionist, Kak Zarina is very helpful too.
Ill be seeing Dr Loh for the final time tomorrow to get a consent letter before flying home to Miri and i shall update again from Miri :)
